About Bijal

I am a dedicated and resilient law student with passion for justice and advocacy. I grew up in Toronto and always had a strong sense of right and wrong, and desire to make a positive difference in the world. After completing high school I decided to pursue life outside Canada, deciding to do a UK law degree as I was born in England. I excelled academically and became involved in many extracurricular activities, including volunteering at the local legal aid clinic. It was through this experience that a passion for law was born, and I decided to purse a legal career. I completed law school at Osgoode where I was active in extra-curriculars, and was able to hone my oral advocacy and legal research skills. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am committed to giving back to the community and have volunteered with Kindred Spirits Orchestra. I am passionate about making the law more accessible and understandable, and lifting the veil of uncertainty for lay people and the disenfranchised.
