I am a candidate of the PREP program by CPLED and will be moving to Alberta after an initial visit to and acquiring a place in Calgary. I was born and raised in Cameroon where I obtained my LLB in English Private Law and moved to undertake a Graduate Diploma in Ghana in Port and Shipping Administration, leading to an LLM in International Maritime Law in Malta. I later took the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Examination and qualified as a Shipbroker and later a Chartered Shipbroker. I have worked in the legal services of the oil and gas, maritime and construction Industry for seventeen years in more than twelve African countries, with principal companies in Alberta, Texas, Aberdeen, and decided to exploit my knowledge, experience and skills by becoming a practicing lawyer with international reputation in Canada in these and related sectors, to provide legal services and operational advice to clients with operations in Canada and Africa and similar clients from Africa to Canada.
