CCL/CQ in progress

My passion for social justice and community service began as a result of my interest in politics and socioeconomic relations. This sparked a desire to pursue a career in law, where I can make tangible positive impacts on the lives of others. After three years at the University of Calgary as an English major, I am now a student at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. I am excited to become involved in the legal field, and to further develop my skills as an advocate for the individuals I will work with. I have a strong foundation of skills in research and formal writing, which I am eager to apply to the vibrant legal field. My previous involvement in the arts, as both a dancer and a dance teacher, has taught me the value of creativity, problem solving, strategic thinking, initiative, and personal connections with others. I am looking to apply these skills in an environment that is dedicated to social justice and community involvement.
