About Kayla

I am a third-year student at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law, looking for a 2022/23 articled clerk position in Nova Scotia, preferably in the Halifax/Dartmouth area. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, I hope to continue my life and legal career here. I am interested in working in a variety of different areas of law and am open to any and all opportunities. As a first generation university student, I am familiar with navigating new challenges by myself, but I am not afraid to seek help from others when needed. The diversity of my past work experiences, both legal and non-legal, have provided me with a variety of valuable transferrable skills that I am eager to apply after graduation. I am currently located in the Halifax area, so I am able to meet in person if desired, in addition to being available to chat over the phone, zoom or email. I am happy to provide reference letters upon request from my employer at Nova Injury Law and my supervisor at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.
