About Maeve

I am a third-year student at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and am pursuing a certificate in Aboriginal and Indigeous Law. Having grown up in Dartmouth, I wish to be an advocate for those in the province I am so connected to, therefore, I am looking for Articling opportunities in Nova Scotia, preferably in the HRM. Some key areas of interest for me are Immigration Law, Criminal Law, Aboriginal Law, Public Law, Alternate Dispute Resolution, and Family Law. This past summer I had the pleasure of working as a research assistant for Profs. Matthew Herder and Constance MacIntosh. During this time, I assisted with a number of projects for the Dalhousie Health Law Institute involving Long-Term Care across Canada, including a jurisdictional overview and literature review. Some of my other interests include Irish dancing, cooking, painting, and being outdoors!
