About Sarah

My name is Sarah Davies and I am a 2022 JD Graduate Candidate at the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law. I am currently looking for an Articling Clerk position to begin in the Summer of 2022. I am passionate about family law, wills & estates, elder law, and youth law. Within these areas I enjoy employing trauma-informed practices that are also culturally competent. I have additionally interned with Dalhousie Legal Aid Service where I conducted research on inmate access to methadone and systemic discrimination in the Canadian context. Prior to my legal studies, I began working towards a Certificate in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Management from Ryerson University. In 2018 I graduated with honours from Saint Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts Majoring in Political Science, Minoring in Criminology. I am born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and am passionate about working within the East Coast community.
