About Timothy

I have recently graduated from the Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.), the University of Oxford’s flagship postgraduate law degree, having graduated ranking 2nd in my cohort of 223 from the University of Manchester’s qualifying law degree. I am Canadian-born, fluent in spoken Mandarin and I am eager to obtain articling towards long-term commercial, financial and/or corporate law practice, with a preference towards litigation. I am fortunate to have distinguished myself from a practical perspective in those areas, having trained at several of the most prominent commercial barrister’s chambers in the U.K., engaged in demanding and simultaneous legal leadership positions including the Presidency and Editor-in-Chief roles on my CV, and published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, including in the Cambridge Law Review (De Lege Ferenda) on one of the most contentious debates in commercial contract law. I am expecting to receive my NCA Certificate of Qualification in Spring 2023.
