In March 2024, the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED) proudly celebrated two decades of providing innovative pre-Bar call legal education. This significant milestone reflects the dedication and hard work of our Board of Directors, staff, and partners, showcasing our commitment to excellence and the positive impact we’ve made in the legal community.

A highlight of the past year was our Board of Directors’ development of a purpose-driven strategic plan. This forward-thinking initiative will guide CPLED over the next three years, laying the foundation for future success.

Throughout the last fiscal year, we proudly delivered our Professional Readiness Education Program (PREP) to 900 students and the Legal Research and Writing (LRW) course to over 1,450 internationally trained lawyers. These achievements demonstrate our ongoing growth and dedication to empowering the next generation of legal practitioners.
