Important Update on Law Society Subsidy Payments

Please be aware that the process to secure the PREP tuition fee subsidy payment has changed.
Students registered with the Law Societies of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Nova Scotia Barristers Society will continue to receive a subsidy as per the table below:

The subsidy payment process has been updated to ensure subsidies are received in a timely manner. Students or firms (the payor) will continue to remit the $6,100 PREP tuition fee directly to CPLED. PREP payments can be made in full or in installment payments of $1,525 plus applicable taxes. New this year, the payor will receive their subsidy payment directly from their respective law society. Students must be registered with their law societies and have articles to be eligible for a subsidy.
