I am a hard-working introvert, which lends well to interacting with clients one-on-one and dedicating the time to solving problems. As a soft-spoken person, I may not be as charismatic as other individuals; however, I spend a lot of time listening and empathizing. While this may not be viewed as a traditional trait for a lawyer, I believe it will serve my future clients well. Law is not my first career. I spent seven years in professional cooking, where I learned many transferrable skills. The communication and teamwork skills I learned in kitchens has served me well in my professional and personal life. Working in kitchens has naturally instilled a level or organization throughout many aspects of my life. I handle high stress work environments well and I enjoy challenging situations. I love to learn new things and approaches to problems. I am excited to begin my legal practice in my hometown of Calgary.
