The Indigenous Peoples and the Law (IPL) course is intended for internationally trained lawyers pursuing a Certificate of Qualification (CQ) through the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA).

Priority admission is given to applicants who provide proof of an NCA Assessment Report. Applicants who have not yet received an Assessment Report, or who are still in the NCA application process, may register for the course; however, their admission is subject to available capacity and is granted at the sole discretion of CPLED.

Note that registration for each IPL intake is limited and admission is not guaranteed. If an intake reaches capacity, a waitlist will be created, and CPLED will contact applicants who have been placed on the waitlist.

To participate in the course, students must have a reliable internet connection and access to Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to use the D2L learning platform.
