About Nicola

I earned my law degree from The Cardozo School of Law in New York and have experience in various fields of law including Criminal, Guardianship and Elder Law, Housing Law and Insurance Law. I have also served as a development worker in Africa with The United States Peace Corps. Having been born and raised in the New York City metropolitan area, one of the most diverse regions of the world, I bring to the practice of law excellent multicultural communication skills. My parents immigrated from Italy which gives me a first-hand understanding of the needs of immigrant families as well as how the legal system impacts all people. While English is my first language, I also speak Italian and Spanish. I recently served as a Member of my city’s Human Relations Commission as well as Vice President of the Peekskill National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. I am a New York Property and Casualty Insurance Broker as well as a Health Care Insurance Broker.
